Pool Parties

Planning a pool party? Here’s what you need to know:

Upstate Pool Management Group is here to help you host a fun, safe, and smooth event. Please review the following guidelines before submitting your request:

Lifeguard Requirements:

• We require one lifeguard per 25 guests at every pool party.
• Lifeguards are responsible for everyone inside the pool gates, including both swimmers and non-swimmers—adults and children.
• The rate is $35/hour per lifeguard.

Adult Supervision:

• There must be one adult guardian/supervisor per 10 guests.
• Supervisors must remain present and attentive for the entire duration of the event.

Booking Deadlines:

• Parties must be booked at least 14 days in advance to ensure adequate staffing.
• Requests submitted less than 14 days in advance are subject to approval based on staff availability and will incur a $75 late booking fee.

Important Notes:

• No pool parties will be scheduled after August 5th, 2025.
• It is the host’s responsibility to confirm pool availability with a facility representative to avoid conflicts (e.g., swim team practice, HOA events).
• Some facilities have additional rules (such as no after-hours parties). We are required to follow both Upstate policies and your facility’s guidelines.
• Pool party registration only covers lifeguard fees. Rentals for clubhouses, patios, grills, or other amenities must be arranged through your facility management.
• There will be a credit card processing fee attached to your invoice.
